Little Blue Door Therapy is a out-of-network practice. This allows me to focus on providing personalized treatment without many of the limitations often imposed by insurance companies.

Little Blue Door Therapy is an out-of-network practice and does not participate directly with insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service.

Many clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits and receive partial reimbursement from their insurance provider.

How reimbursement works.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health coverage, you may be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of your therapy costs.

A detailed superbill will be provided at the end of each month that can be submitted directly to your insurance company.

  • What percentage of the session fee is reimbursable?
  • Is prior authorization required?
  • Is there a deductible that must be met?

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act

Healthcare providers are required to provide clients who are not using insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Additional information will be provided before treatment begins.
